The series currently stands at five books with the sixth, A time to Die, scheduled to be released on August 2, 2016.Īccording to the deal, books seven and eight will be released in 20 respectively–but not much else is known at this point. In fact, Victor is more of an antihero, who embodies a lot of traits we typically see in the antagonists. The Victor the Assassin series begins with The Killer (also titled The Hunter, depending on which country you live in) and follows Victor–a contract killer for hire–who is very different from other series protagonists in the thriller genre. Here’s some good news for fans of Tom Wood’s Victor the Assassin series, the author just recently signed a new book deal with Berkley Publishing Group (an imprint of Penguin Books) guaranteeing readers at least two more novels after this year.
